NITK Beach also known as Surathkal beach is on the Arabian Sea coast at Surathkal, 16 km (9.9 mi) north of the centre of Mangalore city, in the Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka, India. Panambur Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Mangaluru city in coastal Karnataka. Known to be one of the safest and well-maintained beaches, it is also famous for its dramatic sunset.
